The karigar

Ramdev-ji has set kundan for forty-one years. Every Sindoori Vows set leaves his bench with his initials on the lot card — and his WhatsApp number if you ever need a repair.
The enamel
Peacock blue, by brush
Meenakari is hand-painted on warm gold with a brush three hairs wide. Peacock blues, emerald greens, sindoor reds — fired until the colour fuses into the metal forever.
The lac
Sindoor on the flame
Lac is heated on a brass diya flame until it flows like molten sindoor. Shaped on a turning rod, it sets in seconds — the colour of every bridal chooda we ship.
The setting
Every polki, by hand
Uncut polki diamonds — set one at a time into the gold band with fine tweezers and warm wax. No CAD, no laser, no shortcut. The cuff carries a thumbprint.

Six kilometres of glassblowers in the old quarter — each bangle spun on a steel rod over a coal flame, dropped into sand to cool, then threaded with gold leaf. A dozen costs less than a coffee. They sound like festivals.

The Devanagari क is foil-stamped into the burgundy velvet of every bridal box. Raised, catches light, the first thing you see.

A small antique-brass tag, hand-engraved with the karigar’s mark and the lot number. Tied to the box with a burgundy silk cord.

Measure once. Wear forever.
Bangles size by inner diameter, in inches and eighths. Squeeze your fingers together, tuck the thumb in, and measure across the widest part of your fist. Match the number — not the letter.
Hold a measuring tape around your palm with thumb tucked in.
